Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within Yard and warehouse. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of Receiving and Inventory of Sheet metal, Tubing, and Angle

Duties:

- Operate a forklift to move materials and to organize yard

- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement of goods

- Pick orders and prepare them for shipment when needed.

- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role

- Valid certification to operate a forklift/in House Training will be given as well

- Strong knowledge of materials handling procedures and Preferred knowledge of sheet metal gauges

- Ability to accurately pick orders and maintain inventory records

- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
